In the last 60 years Hotel Atlantico’s story has been related to the Calzavara family’s life, who has shaped it with love, passion, absolute devotion, starting from an unproductive land by the beach and transforming it into the modern yet elegant resort you know nowadays.
The Family Calzavara’s story, of Mario and Eliadora - already owners of the Hotel Corso - started by the end of 50’s, when they bought an area by the beach: it’s 1958, and tourism in Jesolo is just at the beginning.

Thanks to their foresight and spirit of enterprise, they built at first a bar terrace “frontemare”: some old pics shows the bar terrace crowded with people, in perfect style “Dolce Vita”.

Shortly after, the hotel will take the place of the bar terrace: it was built during winter 1961/62, and in early summer 1962 hotel Atlantico opens its doors for the first time.

Over the years hotel Atlantico will be - first of all - enlarged, in the early 70’, to achieve the actual shape and size, then, in order to keep up with progress, it will add the huge family pool on the ground floor and the amazing Spa on the top floor, which nowadays is still the only seafront Spa in Jesolo with swimming pool overlooking the sea.

The whole resort will be also enriched and enlarged through the years: in the early 90s’ the near “pensione cucciolo”, an old hostel, has become the Residence Atlantico, along with the seafront Villa Eti, which has been transformed into the beloved and renowned Villa Bianca.

At the end, at the beginning of the millennium, the youngest son, Gianmarco, became the general manager of this family-owned hotel; he and his family have made welcome into a passion.

Making his parents’ dream come true, he let hotel Atlantico become one of the most renowned hotels in Jesolo.
